Just arrived, it was stated as 35mm, although I measure it at 33m. It doesn't look tiny on my wrist. Just can't make up my mind whether to sell straight away and go for the XL, which may end up looking too big. What do you all think?

The size is perfect. I think, smaller watches take a little time to get used to. But once your're there you never want to go back.

I have a Tank and a Santos and now my 39mm Explorer seems almost too big to me 😂

That looks good on your wrist imho. But then it's a more personal thing.
I agree with above opinion that you should give some time to get used to. Don't make a too quick decision.

Thanks for the input, I do love the look and the quick/smart link system is simply brilliant.

I wore a DJ36 for 20 years and just recently made the change to larger watches. Being able to purchase this in rep and try them out before I make the leap, I would have never imagined I could pull off a bigger watch. However, the 35-36 mm is still an elegant size.

Keep it. You will absolutely adjust visually. I have the Santos Dumont which wears even slimmer and smaller to the eye.
Ultimately it comes down to what gives you wrist satisfaction.

The elegance of the Santos in any of it's forms suits my aesthetic and even when in casual clothes I wear to the office (tech so there's a lot of hoodies and ill fitting chinos). Doesn't stand out as being really out of place.

You'll know within about 4 weeks of wearing it whether it clicks. Worst case sell it on RWI and give it a home to a nice member of the community :D
