"Sanitizing" a Ploprof clasp (removing the logo)

Has anyone tried to remove the black painted Omega script and seahorse logo from the Ploprof clasp?

Does it come off easily with acetone, or do you have to sand /dremel it off? Just wondering how much trouble it will be.

I'm putting together a custom bracelet to use on another brand watch and the Omega logo will bug me. I will probably use a V1 clasp, if that matters.

Anyone try this yet?

Not tried, but the engraving on my Ploprof clasp is pretty deep and I suspect would need a fair bit of sanding to remove it, good luck
