Picked this up off of a member here, and I never gave it a second though as I thought the finish was neat, until I saw a gen the other day with a brushed, shinier type finish. This led me to question the origin of the finish, and then I went down a rabbit hole where I couldn't find anything about it.

Has anyone seen this type of matte almost sandblasted or electro-coated finish on a GF Avenger II GMT? It doesn't have any finishing marks or "brushed" appearance, and it is not polished either. It does not appear to be magnetic either, so, probably Ti. It really has me scratching my head. I love the look of it, but, am questioning it's origin... any thoughts?

I have seen someone do this to their Avenger GMT previously a long time ago. I'm assuming it's just media or bead blasted with a large particle. I don't know much about media blasting or coatings but another possibility is silver cerakote over a blasted case? I've seen people blast several watches actually over the years so that's my guess is just blasted stainless steel. Hopefully someone that's done it or more knowledgeable will chime in. That watch looks familiar. Almost think I remember seeing that one in some pictures.
