Hey
I am thinking about buying a Zenith pilot type 20.
I was going to buy the bronze extra special but did not had the confidence to use it right.
So i decided to go with SS
However, there are 2 versions of movement from V6F factory zenith

one is 2824 and one is 2892

I have a Breitling Superocean 2 44mm which uses a a2824-2 and is super quite with acceptable time accuracy.
However I heard that the 2892 has quite a noise in the movement.

I used to have a 21J movement but was too loud for me. Is it as loud as the 21J?

Which movement would you choose?

2892 isn't noisy, those are the Miyota or the 21j. They are both good movements, but the 2892 is thinner ad a bit more difficult to service (especially the autowind bridge). I'd go for the 2824 just because it is easier to find if it breaks up.

I'd buy the A2892 and swap it out for a gen ETA, superb movement with exceptional performance
