Saketinis...Yes, Sake...tinis.

Okay, technically it isn't actually a Sake martini, BUT it's pretty damn good.

Take 2 drinks that I dislike intensely and mix them together in equal portions, and...surprise! A pretty good drink.

Equal measures of plum wine and sake
Pour into shaker with lots of ice
Shake shake shake shake
Strain into martini glass
Serve ice cold

The sake cuts down (a lot) on the sweetness of the plum wine, and the plum wine livens up the dead-dog-ass-tasting shittyness of the sake.

Next time you're having sushi or hibachi, try it out.

We always do Sake bombs when we go to our favorite Japanese local here. They are delicious. At least that's what they tell me the next day. I can never remember.
