Hi guys im gona get an breitling SOH (correct date font) but cant really decide what color to go for. coz i read somewhere that the brown one's color is a liitle off comapared to the gen. i want the blue one but I dont know if it has the exact blue hue as the gen. (dpes any one has a blue SOH and compared it to the gen? care to comment) of course if I go with the black one its spot on black, perfecto.

but I like the blue dial :D

I personally would go for black. But then again I'm biased since I only collect black dialed watches :)

Really though the black dial version looks spectacular in the pics, and I'm sure even more so in person.

If you had to choose only one, I'd suggest the black dialed one because as mentioned before, it is a neutral color and matches any color / wardrobe.

just buy them both, that will end your dilema.
I've got a breitling and I love it, so you can't go wrong with any of them.

I got my SOH 46 in Black from Trusty. It has the correct datefont, dial print, and is on the ocean racer strap. It took about a week from wherever Trusty is to the midwest US (luckily only 2 hours in customs). I can tell you that this watch is brutal. Gorgeous, understated elegance. Can be sporty or dressy. The nice thing about the black version is that the AR coating shows up with a nice blue tint. This might be lost in the blue version's dial. Pick up the ss mesh bracelet from lonestar and you got yourself top notch watch.

The nice thing about this rep is that the gen isn't very commonly seen in the wild and isn't overly expensive so it is an easy rep to pull off so to speak.

get is on Ocean Racer, that is the best combo and a very nice strap, you can change to a nice big leather strap later. Blue would not look good on leather.

depending the country you are in I would use a Asien dealer like Hont or a Europe based dealer like Preciuos Time. All depends how the custom situation is in you country.

WOW..im not alone..thanks for this topic post....i've been looking for this watch for a few days now..trying to source which daler has the latest one with the correct dial and datewheel..

Im also was thinking to get the brown or blue...

i heard the brown colour is a lil off compared to gen.

mesh bracelet and blue dial is so pretty i think im inlove.

@moggio 258$ rubber strap (ocean) 218$ leather strap. d4 told me that the price of that rubber strap is really high hence the price diff.
