@LOS, you mentioned that I could obtain the papers for it, how do I go about getting them?

Life is good...:)

Very nice Sconey! This couldn't have happened to a nicer gent! Congrats! It's friggin torch isn't it? ;)

Go to your AD with box and the watch. Tell them you want the proper cards to go with it, you lost them. Also, mention that you are not trying to obtain warranty on this, this the main reason they are reluctant to help sometimes. You can also email Omega about this too.

Thanks for the heads up RD. I've e-mailed Omega and if I get no joy I'll take it to my local AD as you advise. I presume I'll get charged for them if all goes well, no biggie, just what should I expect to pay?

Regarding the lume, yes it's a torch. What I've noticed is the slightest hint of sunlight fires it up, look in pic 4, just daylight through the window caused that. It takes a lot less to charge the lume than my DSN dialled 111h and lasts through the night. :)

Scone, do contact LOS too, yes they will charge you and they will ask you where you purchased it. I have not personally done this and I would think they would tell you to hug a root, but it's worth a shot. From their perspective there is no way to identify where you bought the watch. (AD or grey market) So I would imagine there is no benefit to them other than to charge you for a COSC cert or a Certificate of Authenticity. Frankly speaking, the Certificate of Authenticity is really all you need and an AD can do that easily.

I could be wrong and if I am please do tell. I have a 2531.80 that has no papers. ;)
