Got this off the Bay for under $100 shipped from the Ukraine. I bought it SOLELY because everything is written in Cyrillic and I thought it was cool.

I have no idea. It's hand-wind and keeps very good time. Still dead-on after 3 weeks.
It has a "perpetual" calendar. You line up the year with month at the bottom, then find the date at top and it shows you what day that will be / was in any given year.
I primarily bought it because it has the name Paketa (means Rocket - the factory it came from) and the day in Cyrillic. I keep it wound so I don't have to go back on the net to figure out what day it is! :lol:

What a great piece for under the ton! A bargin I say. Certainaly a talking point if nothing else. I'm shure you could weave a great story arround how you traded it from a Soviet operative in Afganistan in return for (insert trade item of choice here).

I do like the watch though.. its unique dial design.

Bought purely as a conversation piece. Worn once so far, and got a lot of great conversation out of it. Certainly worth the money.
