this information is so old and is obviously written by someone who grew up in the cold war.

The only people I have ever heard call a rep a "russian fake" are angry middle aged men who didn't see combat during the CW...its sad.

actually there were some high end "Eastern European" vintage models mostly Heuer's but there were some Breitlings too. used the 3133 movement instead of the sea-gull-poop.
they showed up on the bay for a while
