Rudiger Gamm - 'The Human Calculator'
Superhuman and Quest: Rüdiger Gamm of Welzheim, Germany, is The Human Calculator! At 35 years old, he can instantly solve complex mathematical formulas inside his head. Gamm can multiply higher powers and divide two prime numbers to 60 decimals - 84 to the power of 17; 42 to the power of 100; 31 divided by 61. Gamm can also speak backwards - both an entire sentence and each word within a sentence. He is also a calendar calculator and can determine within seconds the day of the week of any date in history.

Check out this YouTube clip of this guy: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=fgd9oI_9FU8

this guy is just unbelivable.

extremly unbelivable ! i worked with a guy that could just read measurements ( 30 or 40 of them ) with 2 digits behind the comma, and had them added up after reading them. that was impressive to me already.

His capabilities are insane! He created an algorithm off the top of his head to calculate dates during 2 centuries compensating for leap years as well as other variables, and this was a question that a savant had asked him knowing that the math majors had no way to produce such an algorithm (I dont remember all of the complications to the question) .... and he was 100 correct. he is amazing.

I am mystified!

I must say that I am a pretty proud parent of a 7 year old with a 138 IQ (2 points higher than mom and dad) He is ultra logical in his thinking... but still can be a kid.. Although initially suspected....no Autism and aspergers. He's a 1st grader reading and writing at a 5-6 grade level and comprehending well beyond that. His comprehension skills are completely off the chart according to psychologist who performed the test. :)

Peek and Wiltshire are totally amazing.

Wiltshire drawing a 5.5 yard panaoramic map Hong Kong and Rome from one 45 minute helicopter ride was the most awesome thing to watch.

Peek the real "Rain Man" has some serious knowledge.

Wiltshire drew a 5 metre panorama of London from a single 10-minute helicopter flight, from memory, in five days. Architects, landscape photographers, verified the accuracy of his reproduction, right down to the number of floors and windows on random buildings. And Kim Peek is the Human Google. Unbelievable.
