Ruby's 111H - with pics ^^

It looks amazing. Great value for the money and more!
Yes, the center pin is recessed and lume is not superlumed (not bad though)
but I don't think I care that much about these "problems."

Case seems a bit thicker than my other 44m PAMs.
A/R is really deep blue. more so than the 113 I own.

What does bother me a little is the font "Luminor Marina" is a bit bigger horizontally
and it's super white (I didn't know it was noticeable until I saw it in person). Also the dial seems a bit shiny... I think it may be due to the A/R coating.

It's definitely awesome. I just put on the Cognac OF band from E which just arrived
today (what a coincidence :wink: )

Maybe this is more of a Dealer Review post. Ruby's service is amazing. It was my first time
dealing with her and she's very friendly and quick.

this will be my next purchase from her. i am going to super lume it, fix the cannon pin and put it on a ss bracelet. i was going to use davidsens but it won't except a ss bracelet. i wish the L swiss L was further away from the 6 but i will have to live with it unless i can find a dial for it. i am not concerned about the color of the font with the watch on ss it will give the eyes allot to look at besides the dial.

the ar on my 113 from her is excellent. is it better than that or does it just look stronger because it has a black dial behind it making it easier to see? ar always looks stronger with a dark dial under it.

Well if that's Ruby's Swiss 6497 version, I'm wearing the same thing right now!!!!! Mine's on steel though!!!! So to answer your question.....Me Likey!!!!! :wink:

Ordered mine at the beginning of last week; on steel like yours. I can't wait! Based on everything I've read so far Ruby seemed like the way to go for a new guy...

My 113 is from Josh. Only concern is that when I visited AD and saw a couple of panerai models (111 & 113), I couldn't really see the blue tint on the dial. I actually held them and tilt them in various angles to see, but no. I think reps have better A/R (at least the tint color).

I think you're right though. It probably looks stronger due to the black dial... it makes the dial look almost dark blue (similar to the BB dial pics I've seen).

The white text really stands out. Maybe you'll love it

I have Ruby's 111h as well. Only Panerai I own (for now)...and boy, I do love it.

If it behaves I might be nice and send it to Vacuum for a checkup.

You can't go wrong with the "Legend" This is my favorite watch sharing time with my PO's.

I visited an AD today and saw a 177H, which has exact same dial as the 111.

I was pleasantly surprised that my rep was very very very close ^^

Differences I noticed were :

1. Thicker crown on the gen
2. Yellower text color on the dial
3. numbers (cutouts) were more white when not lumed.
4. spacing between 6 & the "L SWISS MADE L" (gen has wider gap).
5. Dial seemed less shiny and A/R coating blue tint was less visible on the gen (weird).
6. Recessed pin on the rep.

The sales rep noticed my crownguard and I showed him the watch and he said something like
"I knew you're one of us Paneristis" I was actually trying to very low key about it and hid the
watch under my jacket sleeve and that damn CG must have popped out a little ^^

Anyway, Thanks RUBY!! I love it!
