Ruby - PO water resistant????

I have just receive my PO from Ruby. Very happy with everything!!!

Just wonder does any one know if they are water resistant?

My thoughts on waterproofness is that you should get each watch checked individually. Just because Tom's PO is waterproof, doesn't mean Dick's or Harry's is too, even if they were built at the same factory, on the same day, by the same person. Take it to a local, non-AD watchsmith, and have him check it. Or dive right in and take your chances. Your choice.

Don't forget, these are replicas.

I ask her before shipping.. :wink: she can do that kind of service but I remember that one time I ask her that if I will try the waterproofing, she'll help me in case of pb... :wink:

I dunno. I can easily envision a rep being waterproof for a few months, then not being waterproof anymore. Without a proper pressure test, it's a gamble.

Look around, I bet it wouldn't be too hard to find a local guy for this. Call a local dive shop, ask the pro divers who they go to.

That was a nice offer from Ruby, though. Wonder how long it would be honored.
