Rubber strap / carbotech opinions / help

Alright chaps

Bought the new carbotech v6 from ken @ chazingtime .
Very excited ... I like it !!

Here's where the problem is !! Some of you eagle eyed observers may have noticed already !! The strap !!
I've had to take the rubber strap off of my 389 ZF to put on the 616 v6

Well one part of it anyway, I have skinny wrists but I didn't expect the rubber strap to be longer than my others
So I guess my question is did anybody know ? Is ZF shorter ? Is it just this model ? Is it just a freak phenomena ?
The ZF is 4.5in and the v6 is 5in roughly
It's not the end of the world but if other guys have the ZF rubber strap and it's shorter with the blue I'll get ken to source me one
I kinda like the blue !!

I added an extra hole on mine with the aid of a craft knife and a hole punch for the ends, but in fact I find it's actually fine on the last hole with my 6.5inch wrist. I'm not using the original clasp but rather a black pvd butterfly one which I've sprayed with satin black car paint to remove the shine. The butterfly may have a small effect on the tightness of the strap.
