I would like to know the size of the gaskets that are used to seal the case and case back, also used in bezels, for the 44mm cases. If you have a few extras, that would be great, as I've just mangled one :(

Has nobody ever bought gasket separately from the watch? Also what is a good gasket lubricant to use to help in water resistance?

Thx

I have never purchased a gasket spearately for a Panerai. I have purchased a couple of cases and they came with the case back gasket....which I believe is 40mm. Getat-watch dot com sells cases etc.

Silcone grease is used to lubircate gaskets to aid in waterproofing. Places like watchmaterial dot com and otto frei carry it. (ofrei dot com)

I wouldn't suggest buying a case just to get a gasket, or count on the gaskets in the asian cases not to be damaged - if they're included in the first place  Lots of places sell the gaskets in bulk for cheap, few bucks for dozens. It's just a question of getting the correct size - inside diameter and thickness. I guess I should ask in the "mods/repair" section. Thanks anyway.

Hi!
Have you found the answer about the gasket? I'm also trying to find some info about backcase gasket for my 47 mm Pam Carbotech rep)))
