I thought about putting this in the puretime vendor review area but since I haven't purchased this from them, it's not really a appropriate since I don't have any further feedback to give other than to comment on what I'm seeing.

I don't care if this watch has a flaw that would identify it as a rep to someone who not only actually has one, but has studied it thoroughly enough to call it out, this is a work of art- IMHO!

I've seen this watch before and my first impression was that it seemed gaudy. After looking at the excellent photos provided by puretime, I really started to appreciate the detail that this watch has. It's not really meant for those with "gentle" wrists. For those of us with manly wrists it certainly does make an impression.

Wow!! this looks like a micro-detailed one but has anyone done a comparison with gen?

OK I have done the quick novice comparison and from the shots provided above I do not see any major flaws when comparing to gen. The only few things I found different was SS screws at the back which is PVD in gen, missing AR at DW magnifier, slightly smaller font size for tacymetre and its marking. But I could be wrong....

Since they look identical to the bezel screws it may be that this error will be fixed. The shiny ones can be used on other APs.

Gen-like or not.
Great detailing and very convincing as a top class watch.
But in my opinion......ugly......

Very nice watch.
and with 42mm I think it is the smallest offshore there is... but i still think it is too big for my wrist (~6.5 in / 16.5 cm). what do you think?
maybe i have to spend more time at McDonald for "wrist fatening"

Sam: The SS screws in the back are NOT PVD in the gen.
The other things that you were talking about (font size, missing AR at the DW window), well, the AR I have to see but the font looks right.

So far, the biggest tell that I can see is the rubber gasket on the bezel; it's located at the base of the bezel/top of the case as opposed to being close to the top of the bezel on the gen.

Very tiny flaws which I believe most of us can live with. I can, coz mine will arrive in a week with 3 other AP ROs....can't wait. Thanks for the closeup shots. The wait is killing me.

But what AP ROO might be suitable for wrists such as mine... This seems to be the smallest one (42mm)...?
