The reason this one is significantly less than other dealers is that it's running an older 7750, hence the 21,600bph.

Personally, I'm not a fan of the old 7750 as I haven't had great experiences with it. Not to mention, this particular version has seconds@9 which is not quite accurate.

If it's within your means, save up and extra little bit and go for a model with the newer movement and seconds@12, you'll be glad you did.

Good luck!

If you are going to get an AP get one of the latest sec@12 versions.

Personally, I think it would be a wiser choice to just get a quartz ROO from Hont if you are too impatient to save up for the better model. That way you are not totally broke if you end up not liking it and can have a (relatively) easier time reselling in the member sales section.

I agree with vpx. I ordered my first AP, a ROO Quartz, from hont yesterday for $90 + shipping. Should be good until I decide to purchase the 7750 version with secs @ 12.

Plus it should keep great time.

Good luck mate

Sound advice I think. I might try the quartz ones as a start but Hont has none on his website yet and the pics I have seen here dont really show a bracelet stainless blue dial chrono. Do I just ask Hont for that? Will he then send a picture of that model in a few days?

Shoot Hont an e-mail describing the quartz ROO you are looking for and attach a picture of the one you found.

I'm sure he could source what you are looking for, otherwise you could get a black dial on a stainless bracelet.

FWIW, I ordered a couple AP quarts from hont and was pretty pleased with them overall. The only thing I would suggest is to select one that is pictured in his sales thread in his section. I got two that were pictured, and one that was not. The one that was not pictured, while not bad, was clearly from a different maker, and not quite as nice as the two that were...

I have no idea if that applies to all models, but I would stick to the pictured watches just to be sure...

Yea, I read your post the other day about the odd one out being good but not as good as the "regular stock" ones. I think I might give him a try although the new diver looks neat so I might delay my decision for a few days. Might be worth the buckage.
