I've been getting really interested in the ceramic models of the royal oak recently. Finally a material for a royal oak other than steel that could theoretically make a really great rep without the drawbacks of gold plating. This watch could definitely fly under the radar on your wrist unlike a gold royal oak.

This is available from trusty time:

But the buckle:

Doesn't match the gen at all (pic taken from a gen listing on chromo24):

But whatever factory is producing the perpetual calendar models seem to have the buckle figured out.

I really hope to see a high quality rep of this model, I think it's my favorite Royal Oak.

First of all that first model is a 34mm ladies watch, the rep is 41mm, this does not exist in gen form, this is the biggest tell! Secondly it's not made of ceramic but is actually just pvd coated steel.

The perpetual calendar model is the only one which has a ceramic case and bracelet. I have one on order.

As a member of the itty bitty wrist committee, I would still gladly wear that watch. I hadn't even looked at the size of the rep from trusty time, & it does look absurdly large in the wrist shot they have.

I have the same problem and have a 16-17cm wrist. I do have a 41mm ZF 15500 and I think it wears fine, the thinness of these watches help.

The pink gold screws and indices would put me off that 34mm version.

I'm only buying the Perpetual Calendar version as it's the only full ceramic model they have made a rep of, I won't be using the moonphase feature, I would have liked it if AP made a ceramic version of the 15500.

They will eventually, that's how this market works. Can't give the consumers too many options at one time, therefore making them buy less :)
