I'm used to rolex's which are pretty silent, recently got a 1565 VSF, in love with the looks of it. Rotor noise definitely something I'm not used to, what do you guys usually do to silence it? Is having a watch repair shop oil it the best option? Or is there a do-it-yourself video anyone has ever made here? Thanks.

Haven’t seen any video, no, but I don’t think it should be too difficult on the P900. Regarding what you should use, take a look at these:

Right iv had a research on how to quieten rotor noise and it does look fairly straightforward, is there anyone who’s done it their VSF Pams, does the rotor have to be removed?...will have a go with moebius oil... Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

Zf Seamaster A8800 rotor silencing [steps photos included]
With help of fellow RWI member I did a rotor silencing. It’s an relatively easy job to do. I don’t know if this was already posted, but until now I couldn’t find anything on the forum. It is a huge improvement! See the photos below (how they’re uploaded in the right order).
