Just ordered an Explorer 2 from the "on special" list.
couldnt help myself.
I'm rabidly curious about how the finish compares to my favorite homages.

Hopefully it's in stock but waiting on the payment instructions.

I doubt a lower end to mid tier replica will impress you. My 2 cents but I would not recommend this as it will give you a low skewed perspective on replicas.

My thoughts exactly. You'll likely not be satisfied. And even if you are, it'll still be a far cry of what a good replica can offer.

Not sure if the v3 Pelagos is still available. I'd suggest you consider this alternative, XF v5.

For the explorer ii, I recommend the GMF v4

The one you linked, not to be rude, looks horrible. The date font is incorrect, and doesn't fit in the window. Using a 2836 movement , the hands are stacked in the wrong order and function differently by the crown. The big issue and one that's instantly noticeable is the orange explorer ii text is almost yellow and unreadable on the no name one you linked.
