ROO Survivor help

Hi,
I recently sent my survivor (w/ secs@12) to a local watch-smith to get the face cleaned (there was some dust on the inside of the crystal, which on a black face, was quite annoying; plus I didn't want to ship it back to China). Anyway, two weeks later, I finally get it back, only to find that the watch-smith didn't clean out the dust like I wanted him to, also did some damage to the back screws, and put the back case on lopsided, which I find annoying. I take the watch back (not realizing all of this at the time) and, earlier today, while wearing it, I noticed that there is a slight clicking sound coming from the inside of the watch when I move it back and forth (like when two pieces of metal touch). This got me concerned because I have never noticed this before. Now I am contemplating opening the back because I think that the rotor might be a little loose. I just want some opinions on what you think, like if it is normal for the modified A7750's to make this kind of noise or if I should investigate myself. Thanks.

It definitely is not normal, and I think you should find another watchsmith!

I would open the case back and check the rotor, also the screws that hold down the movement - it might be the movement itself wobbling around. Can you see the dial move at all if you pull/push the stem and crown ?

It is not very hard or risky to remove the movement, which will give you access to the crystal. You can brush and blow it off, and use a lens pen to remove any smudges or residual dust.

I beg to differ. A 7750 is not a great place to start. Send it to Katt and get it fixed right.

Katt doesn't do 7750, just send it off to G.
