Looks like AP is continuing the trend of black on black watches.

Full-black ceramic Royal Oak watches have always been high on the list of grail watches – think about the RO Perpetual Calendar, the RO Double Balance Wheel Openworked or even the rather delightful 34mm Selfwinding RO – all extremely popular and sought-after models. And now, for the first time, the classic Royal Oak Offshore Selfwinding Chronograph 42mm comes in this same monochromatic, full-black ceramic attire… The Ceramic Beast, a.k.a the 26238CE.

I cant wait for this to be repped by factories... hopefully it will coincide with the release of the 3126...

If theres something AP is an absolute top in, its ceramic.

I love AP ceramics. The murdered out Beast looks interesting. And it wont be that annoying to wear, due to the material.
Definitely something different, they never made purely B&W anything, so nice adition. 👌🏻

I'm interested to see the Blue ceramic in person

Its beautiful (also ceramic colouring is a bitch), but in terms of perpetuals, I still prefer the white version.
Right behind that is the black openworked version. 🤤

Ditto. And looks like they're gonna use the metal bracelet too. Don't mind the rubber one, but it's nice to have some variety in the ROOs. My new grail AP!

Even if they did a half-assed job with available ROO Chrono parts I honestly wouldn't mind. There are so many variations of the ROOC that some creative liberty can be afforded IMO.

What’s got the 3126 to do with this? It’s not used in the watch you posted.

You do know that it’s a model using the cal.4404 aka seconds@6 right? So even if the 3126 is being cloned it has nothing to do with this model.
