Ok so I decided to take the plunge and purchase the JWF Skydweller rose gold with slate dial from the good man Andrew from trustytime.

I want to make an unbias review on this compared to my noob blue dial which everyone raves about.

So bookmark this post and stay tuned. Unfortunately it will take about 4 weeks before I recieve it. Patience is a virtue.

Update:

QC pics received today 19 days after purchase. Andrew was having some release issues with the factory.
I've already approved it. But happy to hear any constructive criticisms.

I've also asked for faster shipping options. Just awaiting a response.

A bit of misalignment here because of these pins I'd say. Nothing major, but a bit sloppy. I'm surprised there holding on at all.

Interesting. The other day I was dealing with a Noob daytona bracelet that stubbornly resisted all my attempts to mount it on a ARF daytona case, because the spring bars couldn't reach the lug holes. I was about to try the same stunt as seen in your pictures and bend the spring bars. But then I tried with another Noob daytona bracelet a had in my parts drawer, and to my surprise that one was a perfect fit.

I am not competent though to point out any flaws. Must wait until experts chime in

I've decided (and purchased) an after-market oyster flex (branded) strap in black. Otherwise, it's too much rose gold. This will break it down a bit.

Plus I've ordered one for my noob blue dial (blue strap) that I'll be making the comparison on. Unfortunately, I have the bezel sent to flan_dad for plating with white gold.

And Andrew from Trusty is only organising the shipping as of today. So we're looking at 3 weeks before I receive both hopefully.

I think they look great.

When I do reviews, I tend to voice my initial impressions. However, on this occasion I decided to reserve my opinion until I've had more of
an idepth look at this JW factory Skydweller.

I've read posted on Reddit where people are saying that this is the next best thing to a Noob. People who are saying this need to take a closer look
as it wasn't log before I noticed the below listed below.

Cons:
1/ Spring bars are bent (see pics above)
2/ When the crown is extended, it wobbles like it's about to pull right out.
3/ The bracelet is shit. It is low-tier DHGate quality and I'm not exaggerating. It's tinny, rattley and underweight.
4/ The bezel is wobbly & moves as well. It moves up and down, and backward and forward. It's fitted very loosely.
5/ The month indicator moves when you wear the watch just by the movement of your wrist. Because of the loose bezel.
6/ Winding it is gritty and feels rough. Not smooth at all. (but then neither is my noob as they both have the same movement)

Pros:
1/ It does look great.
2/ I can swap the bracelet for some after marking Rubber B straps in black which I have.
3/ I could tighten the bezel. Maybe some plumbers tape just to pack it a bit...lol
4/ The plating is surprisingly good. But I'm no expert here.
5/ Keeps great time. This one was clocked at +2sec with QC.
6/ GMT works fine, like the Noob.

This isn't a detailed review, just one based on playing around with it a bit with first impressions.

I'll post some pics of it fitted with Rubber B straps and update you on any improvements made.
