Rolex Yachtmaster 42 or 40

Hi,

I‘m very new in this Forum and would like to buy a Yachtmaster but I‘m not sure which size is the best for me. Actually i love the Design und the Black one 42 with oysterflex rubber strap but I think it could be to large for my wrist. The 40s Yachtmasters are not my favourite because of bracelet and bright bezel. Does anybody hat the same thoughts or have a Picture with small wrist with 42mm Yachtmaster? Need some impressions. Thanks

If you can share your height and weight, roughly I should be able to make a intelligent guess if the watch diameter will be a good fit.

I can advise that the YM 42mm will sit well on almost everyone wrist because the OysterFlex Rubber strap is made such that it sits the watch comfortable on the wrist.

I bought quite a cheap 42 a few years back. I think I paid around the £100 mark. It looked great, though I’m no expert. But I wore it in the pool and the strap and bezel insert got bleached. I ended up binning it. I don’t know if that’s a common experience with these but it might just be best to avoid the pool and sea. I hope you have better luck.

If you pay £100 for a replica you can't expect much more, unfortunately

How Large is your wrist? I think the yachtmaster of clean is very Good

Based on this, a 42mm YM is definitely a good watch that can sit well on your wrist (from my experience)
