Most reps are water resistant to some degree, but you should get your watch preassure tested before you go swimming/diving with it.

Hey guys did you ever swim in your rolex sub v7 v8 or any model from noob arf ...

Take it as read that your rep will leak like a sieve if exposed to water ( i have been surprised with the wr of some of my reps) ! Do not swim in it until you have had the watch pressure tested for WR .

90% of my reps have passed 5/7 atm WR test out of the box, which means you are good to go and swim in the pools.

Swimming with reps is the sea is another story. Here is the BP rep I took for 2 week holidays on the sea. A bezel assembly got rusted, TD told me this is becasue the smaller parts most likely are not made of steel. Not sure did we have anyone who swam with the latest 904 reps in the sea?

I've wondered this too but never worried about it too much. I. Can't think of a time when I've gone swimming and didn't know it was going to happen. When I do Seiko > rep.

I don’t go swimming. But I like having my watches tested so that I can feel confident getting them wet around the house or yard. I also like to be able to submerge my watches in water to clean them often.

You should not have trouble water resistancizing your reps of divers. Worst case scenario the rep case could be defective, but I think that’s uncommon. Second worse case scenario, you have to change the seals, repress the crystal. Best case scenario, you test it and it passes out of the box
