Tempus Machina is an actual company that customizes Rolexes to make them have a more vintage look. (This is obviously NOT a genuine Tempus rolex). They take a rolex 114060 no date and customize it to give it a James Bond Big Crown homage look. The dial on this watch has to be seen in person. Some lighting it has somewhat of a semi-gloss look and in other lighting it has a fantastic matte vintage look. The gold hour markers with the vintage gold lettering sets this thing off. The actual company only made a limited amount. They came with an individual limited edition number on the back and as you can see from the pics the Replica company added this to their watch as well. It is a great watch if you are looking for a vintage look but new watch feel. Used and not brand new but worn on the Nato mostly so light wear and very few small scratches on the bracelet and watch. Ton of pic to follow but here is a breakdown of what Tempus does that this Rep factory replicates to change the look:
Shave the crown guards off
Slim down and slightly bevel the lugs to give it a less boxy look
Shave down the sides of the bezel to give it the vintage coined edge look
Removed the pearl on the bezel insert at the 12 oclock for the red triangle
Added a Brevet Big Crown
The dial is redone in a matte finish with gold gilt lettering (appropriate vintage two line meters at the bottom)
The hour markers and hands have been re-lumed in an off-white yellowish color to give it a patina look
Drilled the holes at the lugs for vintage access springs and quicker bracelet change
Added a domed crystal for that vintage feel
