Now just another chain store jeweller resting on the long faded laurels of "Royal Appointment" and the so called waiting lists for Rolex. Lacklustre staff and spineless management more comfortable in maligning the complaints of a longstanding customer than challenging their own staff to give a true and proper account of the instructions I gave them when placing our Rolex for a service costing £670 with the Cambridge branch. I would now avoid them and advise others to do the same. Not only did they refute my account of giving clear instructions, they also told me that in the course of a "Rolex" service, the case is refreshed by polishing and this this process always takes place with the bezel installed!! My watch was in mint condition, being only 6 years old from new and only occasionally worn by my wife. I have paid the service invoice and have the watch back. I will arrange for a bezel replacement.
Certain stores remain useful to Rolex lovers in that they are able to reduce waiting lists for new Rolex's and sell them at list price provided you know how and who to ask.
