If it's still in the QC process, tell JTime that you don't want it and point out the flaws. Chances are they will give you a different one.

If it's already shipped, it's probably harder to resolve with JTime but there are a few great watch repair guys on this forum so maybe they will help you out... Best of luck

You will be able to improve it by rotating the movement/dial assembly very slightly.

You'll need to remove the caseback, loosen the movement retaining tabs and then rotate the movement (the dial is attached so it will also rotate). You'll need to make sure the stem isn't too stressed by the process and the crown still screws in without any issues. But by rotating it all a couple of degrees to the left, hopefully you'll find that visually it all looks lined up.

It's not as bad as that pic makes it look. The right side of the watch in that pic is tilted closer to the camera to make the date window appear centered in the cyclops. The tilted angled shifts the apparent position of the rehaut crown to the left.

You can see this apparent shift in the insert triangle in the pics below taken seconds apart with no change but the tilt angle, bringing the right side closer to the camera. Note how the date window is centered in the bottom pic and compare what that does to the apparent triangle position.

It's hard to see the rehaut crown (pics were taken to highlight the anomaly of perspective to the insert triangle). But you can see the other rehaut letters appearing to shift position to the left.

Sadly, even the gens have a tolerance window for rehaut deviations. I'm pretty tolerant of minor flaws but I don't think I would ever be happy with a noticeably off center rehaut crown on a gen, like some that I've seen. We all have our own tolerance windows!

I agree, I would honestly be pretty mad if I paid $500 for a near perfect rep and then after buying the $20k gen of the same watch, it has flaws. That would indeed suck.
