Well I'll be damned, I'll ask him. The dial is ugly though. He's asking $950 CDN for it, so I guess about $725 USD.It looks gen sir! The midcase/caseback/bezel/crown. The dial tho...is refinished or straight rep . It's was a very common act in the late 80s/earlier 90s to refinish Tudor dials as Rolex.
Can he show you the auto prince 2824 movement?

So what model would it be? Or can you not tell based on that and the dial being wrong.
Would it be worth purchasing this and adding a genuine dial and rep bracelet?

Imo its not worth the asking price without a bracelet and aftermarket/fake dial. Condition also doesn't look too good.
And dont forget that these are 34mm and not 36mm like the Datejust
no service history since he bought it in 2000. Model number 75203
Thanks for the info.I personally would pass on this one. You can get an all original with bracelet for about $1k

What I really want is a 16030 or 16013It really depends how much you want it personally.
I cant imagine itd worth the trouble sourcing a used gen dial plus a service at this pricepoint.
Build or let someone build you a franken instead
Btw corrected the ref number in my originalpost, link goes to 75203
