"Rolex" on CL in Panerai case

I am no vintage expert on Rolex or Panerai but this one looks like someone printed "Rolex" on a Jackson TSE dial with orange lume, put on a crappy rep strap, and decided to rip someone off for $3500

Any input on this?

They released their first watch for the Italian navy with the help of Rolex since they'd never been in the watch business before that order

That was where the Radiomir brand came from by the way... it was their first watch and used Rolex movement, case and crown

I read the title when I was looking and thought it was going to be something vintage and cool. When I saw it I spent the next 10 minutes trying to find ANYTHING REMOTELY SIMILAR that was a real rolex/PAM and found nothing. I was thinking maybe some factory did a run of throwback orig PAM/rolex.

I think I will offer him $3200 if he will verify it at a real watch store and see what he says.

I am more of a PAM guy but the whole situation looks funny. Any one spot anything on his other watches?

Appears he is a "dealer"

Their website through a quick google is www.goldsells.com

Appears to be somewhat of a Pawn Broker. Maybe he got taken with this "Rolex"

A pawn broker should know better... congratulations to the guy that burned him if that's the case. If you don't know your own business you shouldn't be in that business

This is the only Rolex-Panerai that I know is legit.

The one I mentioned wasn't a Rolex/Pam per Se... it was just a Pam where they ordered the parts of Rolex
