OK.. no idea if this the right place but here goes…
As far as reps go what replaces the white gold on the indices and hands? Can they oxidise on a rep? How are the dials made? They are unbelievably good. ? Is case really 904L or is it really 316??

I can answer part of your question. When the 904L switch occurred a couple years back one of the members here, 2fake4u, sent a link from his watch to be tested and it did test as 904L versus 316 so yes that part is definitely legit. As far as the dials go, it depends on which replica you're talking about. For purposes of this reply I'm going to just speak on Rolex replicas. The Rolex replicas use a similar process with the base plate etc to genuine. As far as what material the white gold is replaced with, that I honestly don't know so I cannot speak to it. What I can say is I've seen a number of replicas and I have owned a few that were a good 10 or more years old and there's never been any signs of oxidation so whatever they're using in the high-end replicas seems to be holding up

Yeah legit 904L steel. It’s been tested with a XRF scanner.

I think they are electroplating the hands with platinum.
