Watch looks great, and the QA seems good for a GMT. However, it very quickly stopped running after I originally set the time and date, I wound it and reset the time and got a few hours wear out of it until it stopped completely.
I sent the watch off to ado213 to give it a good going over. The issue with the watch was the impulse jewels in the pallet fork. The entry stone was set into the pallet fork an acute angle and was at time missing the escape wheel. He removed this and reset it in the correct position and it’s all running well again - He didn’t feel it needed a service.
The watch is running great, nice quiet rota and everything feels as it should. Spent a bit of time with it yesterday and it’s just not for me so I’m offering it back up to someone to enjoy.
Repair cost me £65 but I wouldn’t pass this cost on to the buyer even if I could, it comes with no warranty but piece of mind that it has been inspected by a professional.
I’ve bought and sold lots of here so I’m not out to take the piss, my record speaks for itself. I’ve shipped all over the EU and even to Asia and Australia successfully.
