I have a deep sea sea dweller and the clasp pops open in the middle section of there is any pressure from my wrist on it at all. It’s been this way since I bought it. Is there a way to fix this?

Is the flip lock staying closed and the center adjustment lever is popping up causing the teeth to release?

You can try bending the clasp bayonet blades to decrease their arc slightly. Particularly the one closest to (contacting) the link that engages the adjustment lever. This is something that can be done to adjust the click tension on a Rolex clasp and is a more common practice with older (tuna can) clasps. But I have done it more than once with 6 digit model clasps, though the bayonet blades are much stronger and can require some careful tool work to bend them. I have bent some by hand.

Flattening this arc will reduce or remove pressure on the link that engages the adjustment lever, perhaps resolving your issue. Bend the blades only a little at a time as flattening the arcs will effectively lengthen them and if they get too long the upper and lower halves won't mate properly to close.

It’s the center adjustment that keeps popping open. Is this the remedy you suggested in your response?
