Up for sale is an Explorer 1016 w/ Prototype white dial aka Albino dial. This particular watch has been highly controversial in the Rolex community. For many years people have said they didn’t exist, then in 2007 it popped at a Phillips auction and sold for a $100k

Here are the particulars to this build
Bezel: T21 style bezel for 1016 lover $20. It has brushed matte and polished to satin finish. Some light swirls but in good condition.
Dial: I think is dial is from Yuki from mid 2010s. I have been hauling it around for many years. I want to say they used to go for about $100. It has been relumed and aged. Some chips on the dial. It’s obviously in super vintage condition
Hands: I want to say they are from Helen Rou. They came aged.$40
Crown/Tube: a Gen 603-0 crown/5330 tube . Crown and tube is in good used functional & cosmetic condition. $100
Movement: a low beat a2824 replacement movement was used in this build $40
Case : This is a rep case from bands and bracelets on eBay .Whole midcase has been reshaped to resemble a 1016 case as much as possible. Lugs holes have been widened to accept 2mm “fat” bars. $150
Xtal: a 25-22 crystal from ST. The xtal is brand new and was recently installed. $10
Bracelet: Rivet links from a bp 1675 gmt. The clasp and endlinks. from Raffles. It’s in used condition. Swirls and scratches on the clasp and endlinks $40.
Spring bars: 2mm fat bars from ST $4
*Note the endlinks are sunken and don’t have a tight fit because the inner loops have been broken off to fit 2mm spring bars
**All removed parts(Stock bezel and crown) will be included in the package
