There are only 3 examples of the 1016 Explorer with an Albino dial, and IIRC 3 examples of the Albino 6542 known to exist. A lot of people claim all the albino dial Rolex are fake, but several well known experts insist they are genuine. I read one explanation regarding the albino dials and why there are apparently so few known examples. It seems that Rolex, for a short period of time, used white dials when creating prototypes as it's easier to get an idea of the success - or not - of dial layout when the dial is white rather than black. It seems to make sense, and there is a difference in perception when the dial is white rather than black.
As always a lot of time and effort went into creating an authentic looking vintage Rolex.
No one part of the watch was neglected, no one part is in its original state, every part has been modified in some way in order to achieve the desired result.
The dial has been customized to mimic the effects of time and also the effects of tritium on the paint surface.
The hands have also been customized to give better, more accurate proportions and have been 'aged' to mimic the tritium degrading the surface of the white gold hands of the original.
There is patina on the case, representing a gently worn well preserved watch dating from the 1960's.
The bracelet has also been reworked in order to give the look and feeling of a frequently worn 60 years old bracelet. This bracelet will fit wrists from 17.5 cm - 20 cm. If your wrist is larger/smaller then you need to tell me before I ship so that I can add/subtract links from the bracelet.

This is not a dive watch, I don't test for WR but it will be WR to 3ATM. If you intend to immerse it in water then have it tested before doing so.
No warranty, express or implied for the movement, I purchase them just as you do. Any other problems with the watch related to build defects/flaws, should they arise, and are not related to user error, I will sort out without charge.
Shipping does not include insurance. If you have specific shipping requirements then that should be discussed before you pay, not after.
Look at the pictures, read the description, know what you are buying. Questions should be asked before payment, not after, and certainly not after the watch has been shipped.
I do not accept returns unless the item is not as described.
No notes in PayPal/bank transfer - price is net to me.
Unless you tell me otherwise, for WW shipping this will be declared as 'used steel watch case ', with a value below your countries' import tax threshold.
I reserve the right to choose the buyer, first come is not first served. Payment by P.P. gift/family if I know you, if not, payment via Wise.
