FINAL STEP 5: Assemble the whole watch, glue the insert

Finally our saga is at its end. What we need to do is put on the bracelet and glue the ceramic bezel insert :). So let’s get started!

And now I will write all necessary tools for the STEP 5:
- Set of screwdrivers for watches
- Sticky ball or DSSD case back opener
- Few finger condoms
- Spring bar tool
- Dust blower
- Good lighting conditions
- Wooden toothpick
- Cleaning cloth
- Cotton cloths
- GS Hypo cement

AS we have left our newly created bezel pearl to dry off, we can finally assemble the watch. What we need is to take GS Hypo cement, and put glue near the border of the bezel. The glue was there originally on the first place when we have removed our bezel insert.

Now when we have our glue in place, plate the ceramic bezel, and the pearl point with 12 o’clock, so it is in direct middle.

When you have align it, press it into the bezel, so the glue will spread nicely. Remaining glue will be taken off by cloth. Now we have finally assembled our Rolex ! Yay ! :)

Now we need only to put the bracelet or NATO strap, so we can finally wear the watch.

I hope you liked my modding, and I hope I will make soon a modding of my Submariner and Ploprof :) I personally learned A LOT from this my first try, and I again must thank every member or rep watches, before me, who made tutorials, what I have used in this mod. SO this is all, and I leave you, with some wristies and final DSSD porn pics. Hope you will like them :) Thank you for watching.

Thank you Dr.Verylong and joegrimm ! :) I have learned A LOT by this first modding of mine, and I will try not to repeat some mistakes I have done with this mod. Next mod will be pimping my Submariner, and it looks like soon also my Ploprof, because it starting to suffer from delamination crystal.

Thank you QinetiQ :) I was trying to photo the best I could with my cheap compact Samsung D60. I want to buy some better camera in near future. Don't hesitate and buy the DSSD now ! I would personally go with PWC's DSSD from Milgauss Factory, the 250USD version.

Thank you rol_man, Marc and trksh-bzr :) trksh-bzr I hope that it will help many members :) I would like to do another modding, where I will mod my Rolex Submariner (changing the hands, for the correct one, reluming dial + hands, water proof, grease all o-rings). What I need is to wait for the set of new Mercedenz hands and I can start working :)

Received some superb pics the other day, and 1kenny1 is taking his time to perfect the pearl on my DSSD.
Thing looks like a bloody torch, the lume is amazing, all sealed, waterproofed and regulated. Being posted on Monday so all going well, be back on its (patiently waiting in a bath of oil, and refinished) bracelet by next weekend.
Superb communications throughout, and a perfectionist. He already stripped the relume TWICE as he wasnt happy with the finish. Cant ask for more than that.
AP V3 diver will be heading over to him soon for a similar spa works package.
1st class modder, cheers Matej. ;-)
