I have pulled the trigger on another rep

This time it was for my beloved wife, she knows the crack with reps and has wanted one for a while.

I'm not going to openly air who I use but the service I get every time is outstanding. This is mainly because they can't be found on our TD list.

That aside my items is one the way and here is a picture of what I should be receiving

She specifically wanted the pink dial and the rose jubilee bracelet, I sent a picture through to my guy who sourced it within 1 day from BP factory. 2 days later 40 HD pictures came through and now it's left the country and on its merry way.

I didn't pay over the odds for this watch and went with the Asian movement

It's a 31mm DJ 2 tone Rose and stainless

Perfect for the WAGS

I got no where with our dealers i use Someone who have used for years. But I don't condone using non TD to others on this forum. Yes it's also available trough trusty time but I requested a RG/SS jubilee bracelet.

What white dial are you after?

Ok so I have had the watch a few hours now and I have picked up on a couple of things.

I can't compare apples with apples as I only have a DSSD rep Noob at this point in time.

Overall the quality is pretty good, the rose finish is more striking than I thought it would be. Not saying it's as bright as the Gen would be but Gen circa £8,000 Rep £240.

Not overly happy with the smoothness of how the stem winder finds its position between wind, date and time but again A2836 Asian movement not Swiss ETA. Saying that compared to my noob, the noob is much smoother and solid when using the stem winder. I can see a new stem in the distant future so looking to buy a spare £4 max just incase. This is due to small and fiddley compared to the sea dweller (much bigger watch)

I'm not the biggest fan of the jubilee bracelet, I'd recommend a oyster. But the good lady was adamant she wanted the jubilee so that's what she got! overall it looks nice and bright I don't have any real issues with it.

Engravings on the rehaut seem pretty nice and sharp and on the bracelet opening clasp.

Watch is pretty lightweight, and much smaller than I imagined but 31mm overall after using a digi caliper to settle my mind.

I'd say for a ladies watch this is overall a great buy. If I was to do it again I would recommend to her a noob 41mm datejust as she's tall she could pull it off no problem.

Update : 2 - The stem winder has seemed to have found its home now after a few uses and is much smoother.
