Special watch for sale today. This is a catch & release for me. Sadly have to let this one go without ever getting a chance to wear it. I realized I have too many similar watched to justify this one and would like it to go to someone who can enjoy it. These are pretty hard to come by these days.
Watch Details:
Originally built by Grimlocktime, who is/ was a fantastic modder. This DSSD franken features a Gen Dial, Gen Datewheel, Gen Hands, and Genuine insert. Also included is a Genuine crown- which is unattached. I have only had the watch for a very brief period and have not worn it so I don't have much to say about it. From what I can tell, watch starts up easily and runs fine. Included in the sale is everything I received with the watch from the last sale.
The Gen Dial is very nice and looks to be in perfect condition. Genuine insert also is great condition. The bracelet and case have some marks/ swirls from use but nothing major in my option. I tried my best to accurately photograph the condition of the watch.
Watch still retains the black letters on the caseback, which is pretty rare for these ARF 116660- most have had the paint rub off. When I saw this one come up I jumped on it because unlike many of the other ARF DSSD's from this era, this one still has the color/ paint on the
