Rolex Daytona A7750

I hear that the movement is very unreliable, but that has to do with the chronograph. From my searching, I've only found this watch with the A7750 movement from noob, so I only have that as an option. So if I never actually use the chrono, should I have anything to worry about?

Yes, read the thread about the A7750. There's a great review on it. A must read if you have a 7750.
