Not bad at all, who sells that?
I asked reg to put this on his shopping list.. Great guy.. Great transaction!
Let me know if you get one ;-)
It´s not bad, believe me.
...The watch I had in my hands was from a factory that used a good Datejust as a base to make this model. Which is very nice to start with, BUT you will be caught in two details that you can´t escape from...
1 - The CZ used to replicate the diamonds will be like any other rep, and will never shine like real diamonds, so unless you plan to change that, you will have to live with it. It´s not a deal breaker IMHO.
2 - For a TT model, of course the bracelet is plated and the sides of the midlink on the SELs aren´t plated/wrapped, so a replacement would be VERY difficult to find, unless you have it plated by yourself on a third part jeweller... which will cost you some bucks and alot of workk to find a decent place to do.
Once again, as I said before, the version I held in my hands was the 36mm version, and not the 31mm.
Even the ones on the QC pics that were shown on the thread are good too, if you consider the other details of the watch, and not consider all the work to fix the 2 main flaws I mentioned above.
I think the missus won´t be disappointed by the watch overall, so no needs to worry
I didn´t take any pictures of the watch I held in my hands, but I bought a TT Everose Gold Datejust that is basically the same "base watch" used to this model, which is this one below:
Different bezel and dial, but rest is exactly the same, specially the overall quality.
Cheers,
Spirit.
Spirit thanks for taking the time to make this writeup..
Because you told me in a previous thread that it was a good quality watch is what made me purchase it..
I was just about to send you a pm to chime into this thread.. But then I saw your reply
Can't wait to give this to my wife .. She's gonna love it!
