got this DJ41 about a week ago&decided to get it modded with the Deep crystal & the plated WG Bezel swap. am absolutely in love with it!!

went with the VSF because i felt the dial was abit of a slightly cooler green compared to the Clean which is a tad warmer from what i noticed.

wouldnt change the fluted/jubilee combo for anything else. it isnt a DJ without that combo, to me 🫣

indeed it is! cant get enough of the green tbh. might consider a gen dial swap IF the opportunity arises. but i’m happy the way it is now.

I installed one few days ago and is a massive upgrade on the black dial…white one is also a difference but not huge.

the VSF stock crystal is probably the best stock crystal available on the market.

upgrading it is really an individual preference. darker dials will show more clarity&depth to the dial. the mint green is sort of an in-between, so there’s no real need for it. but i do like the additional clarity&depth. &did so only because i was swapping on the WG bezel as well.

I'm picking up a VSF 41 DJ mint green fluted and I was wondering which upgrades you think make the most sense as far as looks go. I notice you said you did a white gold bezel swap. Can you explain the difference between the standard VSF and what you swapped it with? Is it just for looks or for feel or other reasons and also where did you get the different bezel? Thanks.

Does anyone know if the vs case accept gen crown without mods?
And maybe have the correct part reference number for the wining crown?
Nice to see a treat finally about this awesome mint green dial!

I am currently do almost the same build.
VS base
Gen:
Hands
DW
Xtal

Modded VS mint green dial with gen hour markers and coronet to match the gen hands
polish the rehaut.

And ordered a Xing bezel.
And if it’s a straight fit will also put on a gen crown.

Waiting for al parts to arrive and will send to my watchmaker.
Will update some pictures when it’s done.
