Rolex battery?

Hi,

I have just ordered my first rep order:
Rolex dj 31mm
Rolex sub 41mm vsf

I wonder how do I do when I get the watches the battery is Likely dead during the transport. How do I bring it back to live? And is it bad for the battery if I not wear it for one month?

I don't think you are getting battery watches, especially if it's VSF. Please confirm with your TD.

I'm fairness Rolex did produce a oysterquartz movement for some Day-Date and DateJust models and used a 1.55V watch battery . Think they stopped making them at the turn of the millennium though.

Maybe a translational issue but your watches will very very very likely have a self winding movement OP (no battery). To charge the power reserve unscrew the crown and wind several times clockwise (towards the 12 o'clock direction).

Per RWI law, you are required to send one watch to me and the other to @Feefo. Which to who is your decision, but perhaps it's better to send the manlier size to Feefo, as he just returned from a lavish vacation and I'm sure he brought back a few extra pounds with him... But, I digress...

We will then proceed to buy plastic-cased, Quartz-powered shitters for a smooth switch-a-roo to be pulled on yo.... Uhhh, ahhh, no, no. I mean, of course, we will then proceed to service both watches for you and return them with fresh batteries asap!

Please don't be distracted by any "Polex", "Roiex" or "Rplex" logos on your newly serviced watches upon receipt.

Double check to see if it’s a solar powered Rolex. You may have to run around outdoors with your arms in the air (as close to the sun as possible ) for an hour on a sunny day for full charge
