I was asked to build a 6542 GMT, but the guy wanted a black Bakelite insert - making it a a fantasy model. The 6542s were only ever produced with the red and blue 'Pepsi' inserts (of which there are a many variations in the color and tone, due to ageing etc).

I wasn't sure what this would end up looking like, but it looks like Rolex screwed up - it looks damn good.

Pretty sure it would have been nicknamed the Guinness GMT too. ;)

No gen parts on this one, with a HR A2836 GMT.

The white second hand fits perfectly the color scheme. I'm surprised Rolex never thought of doing one like this.

Is this beauty for you sir?

No, someone asked me to put it together for them, it's on it's way to it's new owner.

Do they make a bakelite in "PINK"?

The Cotton Candy 6542 GMT, an incredibly rare piece - no examples are known to exist - but I could do one, just for you.
