i saw that on watcheden awhile back too...

put a riveted bracelet on and beat it up a little and it'd be a nice piece...

Oh yes. I do like. The shape of the numbers on the dial is so clean. Narikaa has a few vintage reps that you might like too. Explorer and Milgauss.

I'm pretty sure if you check regs photolist when he gats it updated this time you will find this or something very similar....I seem to remember him having one of these once..

What is a good technique to "beat up a watch" to make it look vintage. I'm thinking of purchasing a vintage rolex gmt rep.

I'm very tempted to get a cheap vintage watch to play about with, like this one:

..but I have no idea about resizing the riveted bracelets, is it difficult?


I think there are better versions out there. This one is a pure fantasy model (dial) and has no lug holes.

The bracelets are usually easy. The last links have screws that look like rivets and can be removed.

I heard Narikaa can get MBK pieces, that's where I got parts of this:
