Evidently much longer than we had hoped. Seems like there is no interest. Meanwhile the grey dial/ white gold is the best watch Rolex makes right now imo

They made some Cellini reps that I believe weren't very good or very popular. Unless there's some surge in demand for the 1908, I don't see a rep in the near future.
But who knows? Some celebrity or influencer wears one in a viral clip, and overnight it becomes the hot watch to own. Look at the Daytona, it was a poor seller until Paul Newman wore it on a magazine cover and Tony Soprano wore one on a TV show...now you can't get one unless you're willing to part with a kidney, buy 5 other Rolex watches you don't want, and wait for 3 years for the AD to call, lol.

My mistake, you are correct. This is what happens when you get older...you KNOW you remember something, you just remember it wrong, lol.
