Rolex 1665 Double Red Sea-Dweller

Here's a nice little project I recently completed. It's a DRSD based on a reshaped cartel caseset, with vietnam dial and Clark hands. Sternlreuz plexi. Athaya crown and tube, Athaya crown and silver DW from ebay complete the package.
Thanks to G-straps for cutting and stitching a wonderful piece of old leather for me.

Love the texture on your dial. Looks like the Polexpete datewheel. I’ve got the same one on my MBW1680.

I have a 1665 double red built by yodog,
It is nice to see how each one is taking this watch to a whole different direction.

Loved the relume work and the strap is very unique.

For someone that does not have any watchsmithing tools or skills, such as myself, how would one go by acquiring a rep like this? Pretty much just buy it from

Yeah, check out the sales section. Honestly most vintage reps out of the box from the dealers are (imo) pretty awful looking; you're going to want a build by someone who has experience selecting parts and aging them to blend the whole thing together.

Interesting build kilo. I like the lume work a lot especially on the hands. Looks pretty chunky, do you know the case thickness offhand?
