Hi guys,

Lately i am crazy about rolex and a vintage world.

I am starting to collect submariner and already have 5513, 16800, 14060 (all gen). When i am thinking of 16610 and my budget :p

, i found that a lot of people do the franken build. From that idea i tried my best to collect the best sparepart that i can afford starting with browsing and bought insert, hand and dial from chrono-shop Italy, gen date-wheel and crystal from @Sub007 RWI, the watch itself using Newest JF 16610LV. Maybe the picture can show the currently ongoing project . I want to be period correct that why i delete rolex engraved font, make holes on the watch case as well. I also service the movement, brush the case and bracelet as gen. All the credit to Johnny Deep for his craftmanship.

Isn't Johny Deep a porn star? Bad jokes aside, this one's classy! What was the overall cost, if I may ask? I reckon, sub-1500s?

Very nice build.
These 16610 with lug holes are beautiful watches. I like them.

Perhaps I should go also this way for a late 16610 with combination of lug holes and SEL.

Hey, Coyote77 - Terrific build. I'm working on something similar. Can I ask what how you aged the dial and achieved the lume color?
