Robbie/Aobobuy buyer review

This is my review of buying UPO rubber strap from Robbie.

I needed an UPO rubber strap so I asked Robbie what his price was for the best model available (engraved Omega logo on the buckle). I sent him pictures to make sure he knows what I am looking for.

His price was a bit cheaper than TDs have so I ordered it. It took 11 days to arrive - it was the cheap and wrong one. I can get the same from Narikaa at 1/3 price.

I contacted him and asked what to do. He offered me another one for free if I have something else to order. I had nothing so I suggested I pay another shipping costs and he sends an another strap.

Now a bit less than a month after the first tracking number I received the correct strap today. It is nice!

Total cost is maybe a bit higher than it would have been from TDs but of course I have now one extra strap to sell.

I appreciate that Robbie handled my reclaim but I am not happy that he sent the cheap one in the first place. If I would have been a beginner in this hobby I would not have noticed the difference and he would have sold the strap for 3x its price.

So what can I say, something good and something bad. I have used him several times and my overall feeling is still positive.

I'd like to see detailed pics of the two straps. I had no idea there were different versions of the 22mm UPO strap/tang????

So, now I took some photos with my Lumia. Hopefully they are good enough to see the differences Go Nokia Go!

Better strap is attached to my Franken UPO.

The buckle: better one has engraved logo, cheaper one laser marked or something

Rubber is a lot smoother and softer in the better version. It seems there are mould marks around the markings in the cheaper one. Note that the both straps are basically new.

Thanks mate, no problem! Just to add, I have Narikaa version also (I was so hasty to get one quick icard, it is very affordable and seems the rubber is better than in the one Robbie sent me first. The buckle is the same as in the cheaper Robbie one.

I have had some question about the better version. Please understand that you can get it from most of the Trusted Dealers here at RWI. So I cannot recommend Robbie because he is not a TD.

So use our TDs, they are trusted for a reason! Just ask for a better one with engraved Omega logo on the buckle. They have to know that.
