While we're on the topic of easy to rep RMs that should exist, did anyone catch the thickness quoted in the Hodinkee review for the 30-01?

RM has released an upgrade to the 2011 RM 030 and the tech specs are much improved.

They give it a 17.6mm thickness, which is insane and thicker than almost all RM reps that currently exist. If not for the stupid big-date and the (imho) hideous diamond-shaped bridges this would be a no-brainer instant rep. I have no idea why it's so thick, that's gotta wreck the wearability and feel like a tower on the wrist.

Can you imagine what the RG version feels like on wrist? It's gotta weigh like half a pound and it's just so tall

Love to add a RG RM to the collection - seen some yummy pictures on IG of the ‘base’ RM030 (which I prefer to this 30-01) with Miami blue strap and it looks epic. Bring it on!
