087 is a 44mm case instead of the 47mm

Nice pick-up, Chris. I have to admit, the 087 is one of the *very* few Subs that does anything for me. Is the date font and mag really that much of a flaw?

I got the CF strap from hxxp://www.internationalwatchman.com
He offers the straps in blue and black it was a little stiff new but I broke it in just by putting a bend in the strap and then rolling the bend from one end to the other until the strap was a bit softer.

I don't have any problem with the date font or mag on this one the date is crisp and clear and I can see it, I am not a perfection junkie on these as they are rare enough I don't have to worry. It has the crooked 8 and 10 o-clock markers but I will fix them the first time I uncase it. I opened it up and checked the gaskets to be sure it was waterproof it will be good for swimming at least but I have noticed a trend in the last couple of Pam reps to use rather thin caseback gaskets which means I would not push it past 100m.

oops spoke too soon! well it ran for a whole day! now If I wear it face down it runs or I can wear it face up and it is only right twice a day
