Not that knowledgeable, it took several people before they caught the CG, etc. I spotted it as a DSN right away. :wink: Of course, we have a bit of an advantage, huh? Yeah, the hyphens need to go, or it needs fat markers like his 040 dial.

I really hope that guy's friend didn't pay a gen 026 price for that....

Trust me, that's nothing that enzo, babola, and others haven't passed along to DSN in the past. Regardless, I don't believe DSN is even making/offering that dial anymore.

I could be wrong, though.

:evil: that would be messed up if he/she did buy the 026 at gen price... the funny thing is the poster, (the dude that claims the 026 pictured is his friends), has a pic of his own 026 on his signature... If he saw that DSN 26 in person, he would have known that it was rep... by comparing it to his own - Maybe he was just testing the water? :twisted:

I believe Socko's intentions are genuine. He owns 26 A-series. The one he shows as friend's he believed belonged to 26 pre-A series, that's why he couldn't really tell if it was gen or rep.

Anyway, his friend should be a littele bit more careful in the future with 'showing' off his rep possesions ...then again, he probably got scammed and thought he he really bought a gen 26 pre-A

I always find these threads interesting, but when I see reps being critiqued on gen forums like this I always cringe. Like we need any more attention brought on to us. I'm with you guys, I just hope no one is out gen money on the watch.

I agree. I hate to see it as well but I enjoyed the free education from reading the thread. We caught some obvious stuff but they caught some really crazy detail stuff.

As for DSN making PAM's, I don't think his goal is to make 1:1 perfect copies. His goal is to make products that sell and we currently buy what he has. He doesn't have a huge motivation to put in a ton of extra effort to make forgeries. He does improve his offerings but they'll never get to the point where they are perfect.
